Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Minglea Ltd. (the controller) processes your personal data under the GDPR.

Data we collect and why

• Account — your email address, used to sign you in. Legal basis: contract.
• Age check — your date of birth, used only to keep Minglea 18+. We do not collect ID documents or face scans. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• Profile — display name, photo, bio, interests and languages you choose to show. Legal basis: contract.
• Your content — your profile, photos you share, room chat and private messages, used to provide those features and keep members safe. Legal basis: contract and legitimate interest.
• Safety — reports, blocks and the emails you send to our support team. Legal basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest. Retained 18 months, longer under a legal hold.
• Device — a device name and sign-in time, so you can review active sessions. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Purchases — diamond purchases are charged by Apple through the App Store; we keep the transaction record. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation. Tax records retained 10 years.

We never use precise location or contact lists. Minglea contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Recipients and transfers

We use hosting and accounting processors. Where data leaves the EEA we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with additional technical safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. After a 7-day window in which you can cancel, your account and its data are deleted automatically, except records we must keep by law (reports under a legal hold and tax records). You can also ask us to delete your data by email at yashmehta009@icloud.com.

Your rights

You can access, export, correct, restrict, object to, and delete your data from Privacy Center → Your data rights. We answer within one month and tell you if we need an extension and why. You may complain to your supervisory authority.

We store your sign-in token and interface language on your device. This is required to run the service.
